In March, 2012 Wayne Miller will direct a site-specific staging of Saul Levitt's play, THE ANDERSONVILLE TRIAL, in the 3rd County Courthouse in the Historic Richmond Town Restoration.
Wayne Miller recently directed the New York Premiere of Steven Dietz's comic thriller YANKEE TAVERN which enjoyed an extended run. In spring of 2010 he directed a sold-out, site specific staged production of Christopher Sergel's play, To Kill a Mockingbird, based on Harper Lee's classic novel.
The New York Times said,
"Experts on 'To Kill a Mockingbird' say that apart from Harper Lee's hometown in Alabama, where the play is performed each May in the Monroe County Heritage Museum Courthouse, the drama might not have been staged in a real courtroom before."
He is the Producing Artistic Director of The Staten Island Shakespearean Theatre, a 35 year old producing company in his home town. (www.sistny.org)
